More “Macintosh-like” than the most…

Cyrk Text Converter is more “Mac-like” than most shareware application. On this page you can read a bit about why.

Undo and Redo

After editing somthing, you can always select Undo from the “Edit”-menu (or press command-Z).

The “Edit” with the menu item “Undo Delete” (75%).

The text of the menu item Undo reflects what is undone. If something was just deleted, the text of the menu item changes to Undo Delete etc.

Help Balloons

There are help balloon for every menu item and for every item in every dialogue.

An example of a help balloon (75%).

Usually, the text of the help balloon reflects the current condition or mode. For instance, the help balloon of the “Undo” menu item does not only tell that you can undo the last action, but also what the last action was.

Multi threaded

Conversions are carried out “in the background” so that you can keep working while Cyrk Text Converter works. You can also edit the preference settings of Cyrk Text Converter, start new conversions etc.

In the example below you can see three simlutaneous conversions (in the Danish version of Cyrk Text Converter):

Three simlutaneous conversions (50%)

Preferences

Sets of preferences can be exported to preference documents.

To use the settings of a preference document, import it from the “File” menu or simply double-click the preference document.
